As part of Vision 2031, a State-level seminar was organized by the Kerala Forest Department. Sri Sajeer KV Divisional Manager represents Kerala Forest Development Corporation (KFDC) actively participated in the panel discussion on Ecotourism. During the session, KFDC highlighted various Ecotourism activities undertaken across its centres and Ecoshop products, with special emphasis on its range of sandalwood-based products.The Corporation also emphasized the importance of upgrading the quality of Ecotourism services and expanding product sales through Forest Vanasree Ecoshops. Furthermore, suggested the need to diversify Ecotourism initiatives by integrating and promoting local cultural values, rather than limiting activities to mere accommodation facilities in Ecotourism centres.
