1. What is the Cancellation & Refund Policy

Kerala Forest Development Corporation Ltd believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

Cancellation made on and before 10 days of arrival date,
90% of the invoice amount will be refunded.

Cancellation made before 9 days and within 6 days of arrival,
75% of the invoice amount will be refunded.

Cancellation made before 5 days and within 3 days of arrival,
50% of the invoice amount will be refunded.

Cancellation made before 2 days and within 0 day of arrival,
No refund

Note: Above mentioned refund is excluding credit card charges

2. How can I reschedule my booking?

You can reschedule your booking before making payment. Once you made the payment in advance, you can’t reschedule the date. You need to cancel the booking and need to book again.

3. What about payment terms?

You can make the payment through online by Net banking or card. It may include Room rate with Tax and Service/ Online charge.

4. When will I get my refund?

It is a mandatory process. So, the refund is made according to the cancellation policies of KFDC and the amount will be given by a cheque in the name of booking person and it will deliver to you by a post. For that, you have to send a mail to the ecotourism centre.

5. How to cancel a booking?

Send a mail to respective ecotourism centres e-mail id’s. Refund is made according to the cancellation policies of KFDC.

6. How to change the Login password?

There is an option called Change password in your profile. Go through it. It will ask for 3 fields such as Old password, New Password and Confirm password. Give your existing password in the column old Password. Enter new Password in the respective column and re-enter the same in the third column to confirm. Then click on the Change Password button.

7. What can I expect from Kerala trip?

8. Which is the best time to visit?

The winter months (December to February) are by far the best time to visit Munnar since the weather is pleasant. The minimum temperature of this time period around 10 degree Celsius also it is the best time for a honeymoon or vacation. June to September is the monsoon season in Munnar and even though many tourists avoid Munnar during the monsoons, this is a great time to visit the hill station if you’re looking for a quiet vacation.


September to February is the most suitable time to visit Gavi. You will be definitely get a cool and chilling experience at this season. If you will plan your visit from June to September then you can enjoy the heavy monsoon at the beautiful place Gavi.

9. Where should I write review/feedback of trip?

10. Is there any age restrictions?

There are no restrictions for tourist age. The tourists should be mentally and physically comfortable to do the trip.
